Adoption Training

I still have not gotten into this blogging thing, but I thought I would give it another try. Today JJ and I went to Florence, which is an hour away, for a 7 hour training session in order to adopt through the State. Grandpa Tom and Grandma Sue watched Macie which was so helpful. She was so excited about their long day together. JJ and I both felt the training went a lot better then expected. We even got out early! It was a very informative meeting and we walked away exhausted! So much information my mind could not hold it all. We ended up going out to eat when it was over to start some of the paperwork. We have to hand it in next Saturday at our last 7 hour training! Hopefully we will get it all done. It was also an emotional day. We have been working on adoption paper work for 2 years now. Our emotions have been on a roller coaster that we do not know if we should get excited yet. We know God has a plan for our family we just do not know what it is yet! Macie prays for a brother AND a sister all the time. It is sweet but also heart breaking.
